Project description
Shibeishan Wind Power Generation Project (hereafter referred as the proposed project) is a grid connected renewable energy project. The objective of the proposed project is to generate electricity using state-of-the-art wind power generation technology and to sell into China Southern Power Grid. The proposed project will achieve CO2 emission reduction by replacing electricity supplied by fossil fuel fired power plant connected into China Southern Power Grid. The proposed project is to be located in Huilai County, Guangdong Province, South China. Totally 167 wind turbines with a nominal capacity of 600 KW has been installed, providing a total capacity of 100.2MW. With an average annual 198.96GWh supplied to the power grid, the proposed project is estimated to deliver 177,333 tonnes CO2 emission reduction annually. A more detailed description is available in the VCS Project Description Template and related documentation.
