Project keyVCS-1506Project descriptionThe Cirakdami Hydroelectric Power Plant project is designed to generate renewable electricity to be delivered to the Turkey's National Power Grid by utilizing water resources. The project activity is located at the Dereli Town, Giresun Province, Turkey. The total installed capacity of the Project is 49.1 MW. A crediting period of 10 years has been chosen for the project, renewable twice, starting from 28/06/2012. The GHG emission reductions are estimated to be average 88,510 tCO2e per year and 885,100 tCO2eover the ten -year crediting period.
